After 103 days away from home we are finally back!! I must admit we were kinda hoping that it would be a little cooler by now down here, it is November and it is still summer weather 😫. Since leaving Utah we made our way through SE Colorado, and Albuquerque NM, onto Carlsbad Caverns.

After New Mexico we spent several days in Texas before camping at a lakefront campground in Mississippi. Next up was Auburn Alabama, before we took a few days to relax in Georgia!

Final stop is Florida where we spend 4 days doing a staycation in NW Florida along the gulf. We swam with the Manatees in Crystal River at the springs. It was amazing! 72 degree water and plenty of manatee to see and swim with!!

After Crystal River we made it home, to the balmy near 90° temperatures we were sure we would have missed by this late date. The homestead was well cared for and it feels amazing to be home! Now we start planning our next adventure!!
